About the musicians:

The Phoenix Quartet was formed in 2020 by four long-term residents of Hong Kong and it is currently the only professional Piano Quartet in the city. They were all spending time on Lantau Island at one time and became inspired by the Chinese name of Lantau Island’s highest peak – Phoenix. As passionate chamber music players, they have performed at Haw Par Music, Tom Lee LIVE, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, S’way Music Studio, and the Hong Kong Museum of Art’s ‘The Sound of Art’ concert series at the Steinway & Sons Gallery. They have also appeared on RTHK’s arts TV show, ‘The Works’ for a performance and interview. Recent performances include Le French May 2022 at Hong Kong City Hall and Christmas concerts at Leeder Quay. They enjoy performing a wide-ranging repertoire from standard classics to pop song arrangements.
